Central Florida infectious diseases (CFID) is a medical practice that specializes in Infectious diseases and provide their expertise to serve the people and patients of Polk County and Central Florida region.

Founded in 2009, we have been caring for patients primarily in the cities of Winter Haven, Lakeland, Lake Wales and Bartow. Over the years we have built a strong relationship with other providers and the local health care community. Dr. Lindsay John along with his team of experienced nurse practitioners provide care in multiple settings- Outpatient office visits,  inpatient hospital consultations and follow up care, provide long term antibiotics by coordinating care with home health agencies and local long term care facilities.

We now offer Telemedicine health visits to fulfill the existing need for safer healthcare delivery and the expertise of an Infectious Diseases specialist during this present time of “Covid” pandemic.
